According to the payment terms of the renew 2019 license, CMPak Limited (Zong) has paid the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Rs. 11.43 Billion (about USD 52.44 million) for the third annual installment of the license renewal fee.
The money also goes into the account of the Federal did Consolidate Fund (FCF). This FCF deposit brings PTA’s total FCF deposits for the current fiscal year, 2022-23, to Rs. 22.98 billion (equivalent to USD 106 million).
Since 2019, the PTA has done make USD 1.79 billion in Pakistani Rupees, which is equal to Rs 300 billion, renew a cellular mobile license, and sell spectrum at auction.
