The revised Contact Info page may have a dedicated search shortcut for iOS users. WhatsApp rumoured to redesigns its Contact Info page. The company is also working on a feature that lets users filter neighbouring businesses while using the app’s business directory. But not all users have access to the directory yet. Also, WhatsApp is working on letting group managers join their groups to a community on iOS. It used to be on WhatsApp for Android.
According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on a redesigns Contact Info page for both Android and iOS users. It’s claimed to be comparable to the new Business Info page seen on an app beta in August.
A dedicated search shortcut appears to be in place on the revised Contact Info page. According to WABetaInfo, it will start with iOS users. The revamp will eventually be available for both iOS and Android users.
WABetaInfo has posted an iOS screenshot of the revised Contact Info page ahead of its beta tester release. The graphic shows the new UI would resemble the iPhone’s default contact cards.
Separately, WABetaInfo claims WhatsApp is working on a filtering feature for local businesses. It would let you filter results for restaurants, groceries, and apparel.
