WhatsApp is testing a new feature that will allow users to migration their WhatsApp chat history between Android and iOS devices. Previously, WhatsApp said that a third-party application that claims to help users of chats migration history on the two platforms violates the Terms of Service.
Previous reports suggest that WhatsApp will soon introduce a feature that will prevent users from connecting their phones to the internet while using the WhatsApp web.
According to a report from WABetaInfo, a platform that tests and releases information about WhatsApp’s functionality in beta. A new feature for migrating chat history will released “in an upcoming update”. However, the estimated time of his arrival is unknown.
The report includes a screenshot of WhatsApp for iOS. This displays a popup asking you to update the app to the latest version to move your chat history to another WhatsApp Android device.

The report said the feature also allows users to move chat history from Android to iOS.
The chat history migration feature is part of the functionality of devices. This have been running WhatsApp for a while.
In fact, last year WABetaInfo first announced a WhatsApp feature under development that would sync chat history between platforms.
Recently, WABetaInfo also released a beta screenshot of WhatsApp Web. This shows that users will soon be able to use the WhatsApp web application without their phones having to stay connected to the internet.
This functionality previously found on Android and will now develop on iOS as well.
