WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook messenger has stopped working

Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger have turned down users around the world.

All three apps, which are all part of Facebook and share technology, stopped working Friday afternoon in Pakistan and around the world.

The user sees an error warning when opening the app and cannot send or receive messages.

The official Facebook “Platform Status” page, which notes issues for developers, states that the platform is “healthy” and has no known issues.

Instagram and WhatsApp do not have their own dedicated server status pages, although the official Instagram account on Twitter sometimes posts information about major outages.

The WhatsApp status account was previously used to notify users of problems but it has not been published since 2014.

Facebook is working to integrate its messaging service backend so that users can exchange messages between various applications and help develop new features.

Critics also point out that increased integration can also make it harder for regulatory efforts to triple applications – and that also means much more dramatic disruption.
