Twitter Will Finally Address Half Read Tweets Disappearing

Due to the nature of Twitter, where users may quickly share their ideas and comments. If you follow a large number of people, it is likely that your Twitter feed is continuously being updated and refreshed. This is a convenient method to stay up to current with what’s going on in your social media circles. But there’s a problem here that Twitter created on its own. To solve this problem Twitter will finally address half read tweets disappearing.

The company has declared that, following a long time of user complaints. They will finally address the issue when half read tweets disappearing while you are reading them on the website. If you’ve not acquainted with the problem, it simply occurs when consumers are halfway through reading a tweet and the tweet disappears unexpectedly.

This isn’t necessarily a bug, but it does appear to be a problem with the way Twitter has been design. The reason for this is that your timeline may refresh while you are reading halfway through and as a result. And that tweet will have removed. Because Twitter is adopting an algorithmic method of showing tweets rather than a time-based one. You won’t be able to just scroll back to the tweet because the refresh could result in a completely new timeline being display.

In a statement, Twitter stated that the company understands that this can be an unpleasant experience for customers. And that they will be working on a solution over the next two months.
