In addition to speaking out against Indian crimes in Kashmir, Prime Minister Imran Khan will also address the humanitarian catastrophe in Afghanistan.

The policy address delivered by the Prime Minister would help to strengthen Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach and engagement with its international allies and important international institutions.

The prime minister will address the nation at 1:30 a.m. Pakistan Standard Time on September 25 [4:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on September 24]. According to reports, the prime minister is the eighth speaker scheduled to address the United Nations General Assembly today during the afternoon session.

Pakistan has always played an active and constructive role within the United Nations system, assisting the Organization in the effective discharge of its mandate, which has included tackling a wide range of regional and global issues, as well as current difficulties, since its inception.

Asim Iftikhar, spokesperson for the Foreign Office, had stated at the weekly press briefing on Friday that “Apart from the situation in Afghanistan, one of the primary areas of focus will be Jammu and Kashmir, as well as other issues of common concern such as the fight against Islamophobia, corruption, and illicit financial flows, as well as climate change,” says the statement.

He has previously stated that Pakistan would continue to interact with the Afghan interim government in Kabul.

“We continue to urge the international community to recognise the critical importance of constructive engagement and the timely mobilisation of humanitarian assistance, on which Pakistan has taken the lead by sending more food supplies to Afghanistan in recent days “He had taken note of it.

Earlier, the spokesperson had stated, “Let me repeat that maintaining peace and stability in Afghanistan is a joint responsibility of the international community.”
