Tommy Dorfman came out As transgender. The 13 Reasons Why performer – most known for playing Ryan Shaver on show – has lived as a woman last year and sees its declaration as a “re-introduction.”
“Over a year ago I’ve secretly identified and lived as a woman, a trans woman, Tommy told TIME magazine.
The 29-year-old actress chose not to alter its name since it was “extremely linked” to its witch.
She added, “I’m the name of the uncle that held me when he died after a month, and I feel really devoted to that name.”
She said: “It’s weird to be 29 personally and again to go through puberty. I felt like I was 14 some days ago.”
