TikTok, a video sharing application, has started testing a new function similar to the Facebook and Snapchat video sharing features revealed by BBC on Thursday.
Stories from TikTok let people to view the contents on their accounts for 24 hours before they are removed.
Earlier last week, WhatsApp developed a function that users may use as a tale within 24 hours to upload photographs or videos.
“We continually think about new methods of enriching TikTok experience and making value for our community,” stated the app spokesman. “We are now exploring methods of providing the TikTok community with more formats to bring their creative ideas to reality,” he said.
Twitter stopped a Fleet on August 3 — a similar function, after it was not utilized as extensively as the company expected. It was launched last year in March.
