After a Karachi court granted the application on Friday in a continuous inquiry for the false identification cards case, three suspected individuals were handed up to the Federal Investigative Agency for physical detention.
On 14 July, on the other hand, the FIA detained three suspects — Miga Centre, DHA, Muhammad Moosa Abbasi, Muhammad Ameen, the National Databases and Registration Authority (SDNADRA) data access operator; Meraj agent.
In all 13 individuals, including executives from NADRA, non-nationals and officers who allegedly participated in the fraud, were previously detained.
The FIA had brought the three suspects before the East Judiciary Court, where they informed the tribunal that one of the suspects had previously been registered with a NIC with a serial number.
“There’s a nine-year discrepancy between a suspect and the unnatural father’s age,” the court said, adding that additional time was required to test the case and to provide the suspect physical retention.
