Playing video games on the internet is now possible with Google Stadia and Microsoft xCloud, respectively. It appears, however, that users who have subscribed to YouTube Premium will have given a free three-month subscription to PC Game Pass. Which is essentially the Xbox Game Pass but renamed for the PC. This appears to be an interesting arrangement.
For those who are unfamiliar with the term, Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass was the moniker that the company had previously used to refer to the program that covered both PCs and Xbox consoles at the time of its launch. The rebranding, on the other hand, will serve just to distinguish between the two platforms; otherwise, the service’s features and functioning will stay exactly the same as they were before the change.
It is being sent to YouTube Premium users through their emails. If you are a subscriber to YouTube Premium, keep an eye out for the email that will allow you to take advantage of this free game pass. You will need to be in the United States to take advantage of this offer. Therefore subscribers outside of the United States will have to wait for this opportunity. In addition, you will require a credit card and a Microsoft account.
Assuming you have all of these items, you should be able to take advantage of Microsoft’s offer. Just to see whether this is something you might interested in continuing to subscribe to in the future.
