The World’s First Space Tourist Booked a Moon Trip With His Wife

Dennis Tito and his wife, Akiko, it has done sign up as the first tourist to ride a company’s Starship rocket around the moon and explore space. A SpaceX rocket ship will take the couple to the moon and back.

Tito’s Space tourist does expect to last a week, and during that time, the rocket will get within 200 kilometers of the moon. Elon Musk, who has a lot of money, owns SpaceX. On Wednesday, Dennis’s mission to the moon is first did announce.

People say that 82-year-old Tito, who did use to be an engineer but is now a financial analyst, is a well-known person in the news. When Tito buys a ticket for the SpaceX moon trip. He is the first private person to pay for a trip into space. The news outlet for SpaceX says that Dennis and Akiko Tito are the first two people to ride the Starship on the company’s second commercial trip around the moon.

Tito isn’t going on his first trip through space. In 2001, at the age of 60 years old, Tito did pay almost $20 million for Russia’s Soyuz TM-32 to take him to the International Space Station, where he did stay for about 8 days.

Tito’s trip with SpaceX is likely to last a week. The rocket will come within 200 kilometers (124 miles) of the moon, but it won’t land there. Even though SpaceX hasn’t said when this mission will take off. People are already getting ready for the first commercial space trip. Which is widely thought to occur in the next few months.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, wants to send people and things to the Moon and Mars. The world’s richest and most successful person says he wants to send a rocket into orbit for the first time.
