In the town of Pir Mahal in Punjab’s Toba Tek Singh district, a teacher was allegedly beaten by a relative of a student, police said.
A teacher connected to a private school has filed a complaint with the Saddar Police Department for an initial FIR against the people who allegedly tortured him.
He said he reprimanded one of his students for failing to memorize his lessons. The student’s relatives were angry that he had reprimanded their son and tortured him.
Master said that seven people abused and beat him before dragging him out into the street. On June 23, a student allegedly attacked the principal of a public school in Jhelum.
