In the course of the 2005 Earthquake, the Supreme Court ordered the renovation of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa schools.
The court heard a controversial motorcycle case. The Commission inquired why schools were not rebuilt despite the allocation of billions.
The court ruled that when schools were reconstructed, they were not completely working. It claimed that 16 years had passed since the earthquake.
Education appears to be the lowest priority for the KP administration, the court.
The general advisor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa sought to blame ERRA, the Recovery and Rehabilitation Agency, for the Earthquake. ERRA is responsible for the restoration of the damaged areas, he said.
As the Advocate General indicated, in February 2020 the provincial administration took authority of those regions.
Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed stated the money was rolling.
The Court asked the President of the ERRA to attend the next hearing in person. For one year, it denied the plea of the KP Government.
