The Punjab government has agreed to vaccinate all students

The Punjab government has decided to vaccinate all medical and college students to protect against infections that have caught the most of the coronavirus.

According to the report, the decision was made in a meeting chaired by Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid on Tuesday. The government has discussed possible steps to vaccinate workers in 30 other sectors who are at high risk of contracting the virus.

Dr. Yasmin Rashid said the provincial government is increasing vaccination across the province and data is being collected to increase the vaccination rate in Punjab. The positive ratio for the coronavirus has fallen sharply in Punjab.

According to a report released last week by the Punjab Health Ministry, the crown positivity rate in Punjab has dropped significantly. The positive rate fell to 3.12% overall in Punjab, while it fell to 2.40% in Lahore, reported on Sunday.
