On Monday, the government of Punjab published an announcement concerning the locking changes in the province of Punjab that took place on August 3.
The Provincial Health Department announcement states that lock-outs would continue to be imposed in certain regions of Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan and Faisalabad.
All indoor weddings in the aforementioned districts from today (9 August) until 31 August are not allowed. Outdoor marriage ceremonies are authorised till 10 p.m. for up to 300 people. Due to the outbreak of coronaviruses, all indoor, religious and cultural rituals are forbidden.
The municipal government and police were requested to make sure the COVID-19 SOPs were implemented.
