The OGRA proposes a Rs1.71 increase in the price of Petrol

On August 1st, the revised pricing will take effect.

On Friday, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority(OGRA) proposed an increase in the fuel price of Rs 1,71 per liter.

According to a report submitted to the Oil Division, the regulators suggested an increase of Rs2.27 per liter in the high-speed diesel pricing.

Rs0.24 and Rs0.35 rise in light diesel and kerosene fuels prices were similarly proposed.

However, Prime Minister Imran Khan has ultimate clearance for pricing review. The revised pricing come into force on 1 August.
