Pakistani government worker Muhammad Asif Raza said on Facebook in September 2015: “Friendship ended with Mudasir. Now Salman is my best friend.” The news soon became viral and became one of the Internet’s most known reports.
Nearly six years later, by auctioning it off as a non-fungible token on the NFT marketplace Fundament, Raza has able to book an incredible benefit of its meme.
The NFT was sold to Andrew Kang, a co-founder of crypto-investment firm Mechanism Capital, tonight for 20 ETH ($52,174) equal to 86 LAC Rupees.
To boost the cost of the auction, Raza was not afraid to oppose each other and announced that his BFF status would change every time a bid was made at its highest.
