It looks like something out of a movie, yet actually happened in Lahore, where a crew from the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) was held hostage at the home of a high-profile police figure on Thursday due to non-compliance with additional duties.
The LESCO crew was allegedly kidnapped and held hostage at DIG Shariq Kamal’s home.
The LESCO crew reportedly went there to seek redress and file a complaint, but the DIG demanded that they perform extra work, which they rejected.
Following that, the Lesco crew was not permitted to leave since police guards were watching them.
