The government would make the country responsible and rule of law: Imran Khan

Imran Khan said on Sunday he would not be blackmailed by anyone, adding that the accountability process would continue even if the government were to be dissolved.

Prime Minister Imran Khan spoke about the Jahangir Tarin Group reservations and other national issues, including Azad Kashmir’s election, budget, and accountability, during the PTI Core Committee meeting.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said the accountability process was clearly ongoing, and that the government would not be bullied and would guarantee the rule of law persisted in the nation even if it had to be dissolved.

Regarding the country’s economy, the prime minister said that Pakistanis abroad play an important role in the progress of the country. Therefore, the PTI-led government will ensure that Pakistanis overseas also have the ability to vote remotely through the use of technology.

The committee also raised serious concerns about the controversial publication on the official social media pages of the Pakistan Election Commission (ETUC) based on “negative propaganda,” said a statement released later.

It should be noted that the day before a video was posted on the KPU’s social media profiles criticizing the function of the electronic voting machine (EVM). Although the post was later deleted, the move drew strong backlash from the federal government.
