The Pakistan-led government of Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) in Gilgit-Baltistan has announced that it will build an international stadium on the beautiful site. The Prime Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Mohamed Khalid Khurshid Khan, announced the decision on Twitter.
The Prime Minister recently met with PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani, where it was decided to build a stadium on the site.
Former fast bowler Umar Gul took the spotlight and posted a photo of the floor on his official Twitter account. Gul urged the cricket board and provincial government to consider this as a potential venue for international cricket. His request was approved and the Prime Minister tagged it in his tweet too.
