In order to allow students to establish different enterprises and make money rather than wait for employment in the public sector, it was developed the first ever ‘Technology Incubation Center’ (TIC) (FET).
In his presidential comments on the occasion, vice-chancellor Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro stated that under the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialisation (ORIC) the Technology Incubation Center would function, and the institution will be supported to the fullest degree feasible.
He added that the students who passed the school must be involved in the centre for one or two years so that they can tackle the business challenges and start their own enterprises. “Incubation is ‘learning and earning.’ Thus, whatever students learn on campuses, they should improve their talents, establish their firm, and play a part in national economic growth,” stated the Vice Chancellor.
He further stated that launching a company may give jobs to more jobless young people and said that there were no deficiencies of talent in the country, especially in Sindh.
