The FIA arrested an illegal SIM cards gang

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FIA) has caught members of a ring that is selling fake SIM cards.

The FIA operation in Peshawar is first meant to stop people from getting SIM cards with fake visas, illegally activating SIM cards with Afghan passports, and tampering with Afghan passports, according to the agency’s official statement.

During the operation, which became run by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, ten police officers became put in jail (PTA).

Along with the 450 fake Afghan passports, the FIA also found 15 mobile phones, 3 laptops, and 4 personal computers.
