Energy Minister Hammad Azhar on Thursday requested that Iranian Ambassador to the Gwadar, Turbat and Makran areas of Balokistan take prompt efforts towards restore power supplies.
N a telephone call, the minister told the government that the method of transmission of the power will be improved. The coastal parts of Balokistan were also connected to the national grid system, he said. He said.
He added that the problem of power shedding will be solved quickly in Balochistan.
The Iranian Ambassador declared that the Government of Iran was taking efforts to restore electricity to the areas of Balochistan early, and he promised the Minister that electricity was soon to be restored to these areas.
