By-election in the NA-75 constituency in Daska will take place on April 10, Punjab Election Commissioner Ghulam Israr said on Saturday.
The decision was made in a meeting held during Daska’s further investigation with the chair of the secretarial election commission. It was also decided that the chairperson should sign Form 45 at the TPS. Polling officers do not leave the polling station without Form 45 and no political person is allowed to meet with returning officials upon receiving election results.

Speaking to the media, Israel said that “security conditions will continue to improve during the elections”.Israr said the staff of “controversial polling stations” had been replaced and new staff had been trained. “Elections will be conducted in a peaceful manner, with cameras installed at sensitive polling stations.”
