The Duchess of Sussex wanted the Royal Family to notice how important Meghan Markle is in the entertainment business.
The Duchess of Sussex realised her worth to the public after the success of her tour in 2018 to Australia, New Zealand, Tonga, and Fiji. Her tour included these countries.
However, according to author Tina Brown, the mother of two was bewildered why nobody told her, “Well done.” She had clearly done a good job.
That “the monarchy undoubtedly needed her more than she needed them” was something that Meghan was aware of.
She continued by saying that “she had starred in the equivalent of a blockbuster film, and she wanted her leading lady status to be mirrored in lights.”
While this was going on, novelist Valentine Low was writing that “behind the scenes it was a different tale” and that Meghan “failed to appreciate the meaning” of what they were doing.
