Tentative Schedule for PSL6 Remaining Matches Announced: Sources

Pakistan cricket board has announced the tentative schedule for the remaining matches of PSL6. Event is likely to resume from 7th of June 2021 or 9th of June 2021.

In a meeting with franchise owners on Tuesday, PCB announced the tentative dates for PSL6. Due to quarantine period of broadcasters from India, event can resume from 7th of June.

UAE’s  National Crisis and Emergency Management Authority (NCEMA) will decide on Wednesday about the isolation exemption for the production crew to work in Abu Dhabi from Saturday (5th of June,2021).

If production crew gets permission to work from 5th of June, 2021, then event will start from 7th of June.

According to PCB, there are chances to get exemption for production crew to start work earlier on 5th June. If UAE’s  National Crisis and Emergency Management Authority (NCEMA) will not give permission then PSL6 will start from 9th of June 2021 and final od HBLPSL season 6 will be played on 24th of June, 2021.

According to PCB, Pakistan national cricket team will now departure for England tour on 25 June instead of 24 June.

On the other hand, isolation period for many players is going to end on Wednesday, and Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad united will have their first training session on Wednesday at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi.

Clearance revoked:

Abu Dhabi has also revoked the clearance that was granted to Indian broadcasters earlier today. Indian broadcasters were in isolation for two days.

According to the sources, Indian broadcasters now shifted to Dubai to complete quarantine period.

Six more players including Quetta Gladiator’s captain Sarfaraz Ahmad have landed in Abu Dhabi via Bahrain.
