Services relating to Telecom and the Internet service are down once more in Swat, Chitral, and several other areas. In the past few weeks, there are a lot of problems with both the internet and telecom service, and there are no signs that things will get better soon and service go down again.
Damage to optical fiber cables and power outages have stopped telecom services in Chitral, Upper Dir, Doonbala, Swat, Madin, Lal Qila Samarbagdir, Tank, and DI Khan, according to a recent tweet from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA). It has also spread to other places, including Lal Qila Samarbagdir, Tank, and DI Khan (PTA).
Consumers are also sure that the PTA is keeping a close eye on the situation and is working to get these services back up and running as soon as possible. Their business is very important, and the PTA appreciates their patience and willingness to work with them.
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has ordered that all mobile network operators in the country make calls to all flood-affected areas of the country for free. We’re happy about this change. The new rule is already in place in the rest of the country, not just in Sindh, Balochistan, and KPK.
