Just in one year NITB app generated sales of over PKR 250 million

The City Islamabad mobile app, developed by the National Information Technology Board (NITB), has generated sales of over PKR 250 million since launching more than a year ago.

On the initiative of the ICT administration, the application was launched to make it easier for citizens of the capital to use the services of more than 40 government departments digitally. Its aim is to relieve headaches, struggles and citizen stress with one click across all major departments and public services in Islamabad.

Revenue from the application is generated after the residents of the capital have benefited from its services. In addition, his party is also trying to add payment methods to the online system, in addition to Nadra e-Sahulat solutions such as 1link transfers and Easypaisa, to make life easier for residents. There are more than 40 services that you can use from this platform.

The mobile app is currently supported by the NITB and offers a variety of public services, tools and features for citizens including ICT services, electronic police, customs and taxes, CDA, E-NADRA, notifications, city directory, invoices and other valuable services. .

With a simple user interface, users can download applications on their mobile phones from the Google Play Store and Apple Store. After downloading the app, users can register by providing details such as their name, phone number and CNIC.
