Team Drake denies Drake’s arrest in Sweden

The management team for the Canadian musician Drake has addressed the widespread rumors that he was detained in Sweden. They have stated that the reports are not true.

On Thursday night, rumors began spreading on social media that the rapper had been detained by the Stockholm police while he was performing at a nightclub in the city. These rumors were based on sources that could not be independently verified.

According to the further allegations made in the papers, both the rapper and his bodyguard were detained for the unlawful possession of cannabis.

However, a member of Drake’s team confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that the rumors are not true.

The Grammy winner was reportedly safe and sound in his hotel in the capital of Sweden, according to his staff, who assured THR unequivocally that he had not been detained.

The rapper, who had previously recorded his travels through a series of photos on Instagram, arrived at the Arlanda airport in Sweden at lunchtime on Wednesday.

Drake flew into the country in his very own baby blue Boeing 767, which he affectionately calls “Air Drake.”

Since he landed in Sweden, local media reports have mentioned that the rapper went to the trendy neighborhood of Ostermalm in Stockholm.
