Sushant Singh Rajput: Rajkummar Rao remembers on ‘Kai Po Che!’ anniversary

Kai Po Che’s critically acclaimed cast and crew! celebrates eight years of existence and remembers actor Sushant Singh Rajput who made his successful Bollywood debut.

Abhishek Kapoor, Kai Po Che! published on February 22, 2013 and based on the novel “3 Mistakes in My Life” by author Chetan Bagat from 2008.
Located in Gujarat, Kai Po Che! is the story of three friends – played by Sushant Sigh Rajput, Rajkumar Rao and Amit Sad – on their way through the Gujarat earthquake in 2001, the burning of a train in Godra in 2002 and the riots that followed.

Crown Jewel

Kapoor admits to being amazed by the love the film continues to receive. But devastated by the absence of Rajput, who was found dead in his apartment in Bandra last June. The director called the Sushant Sigh Rajput a “crown jewel,” whose losses were immeasurable, the Hindustan Times reported

Yash Raj Films

The film made him a star, after which he took the lead role in the films Yash Raj Films Shuddh Desi Romance (2013) and PK by Rajkumar Hirani (2014). She then voiced blockbusters such as Nitesh Tiwari’s 2016 biographical film, “MS Dhoni. The Untold Story”, and met Kapoor for the 2018 romantic drama Kedarnath.

Kai Po Che

Rao shared the poster of the film in his story on Instagram, saying, Kai Po Che! Let the actors grow in it and become more empathetic. “It was like yesterday when Susan, Amit and I were shooting for the film. I miss my dear Sushant Sigh Rajput.
Kai Poe Che was also a turning point in Rao’s career, and since then he has starred in films such as the 2014 hit “Queen” and the 2015 drama “Oligarch”. Sad shares Rao’s story and explains how celebrating the film’s eighth anniversary is a bitter feeling. “Something we cherish all our life … and something empty …”
