Punjab CM Sardar Usman Buzdar told Foreign Minister Shah Mahmoud Qureshi that false propaganda against the South Punjab Secretariat perpetrated by the defeated elements had been removed.
Usman Buzdar revealed this after Qureshi summoned the Chief Minister of Punjab to his cabinet and discussed southern Punjab and various other matters with him.
During the meeting, Usman Buzdar announced that southern Punjab would see record developments during the Pakistani government’s Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and pledged to increase southern Punjab’s share of school upgrades to 38%.
A cabinet meeting will also be held in Multan and provincial ministers will be available in southern Punjab for two days, he added. The government is working to end losses in southern Punjab and laws are being drafted to maintain employment rates for young people in southern Punjab.
Ministers thanked the chief minister for a friendly settlement in the southern Punjab secretariat.
On this occasion, CM conveyed that each district is being transformed through a development package, because the development of a complex province is a priority program of the Pakistani government, Tehreek-e-Insaf.
He said the reform and development process would be clear, not only confined to the homes of the ultra-rich and community elites but also to be seen in the realm of the common people.
