Soon You Can Buy Blue Ticks on Twitter

Just days after taking control, Elon Musk just did fire some important people at Twitter, including CEO Parag Agarwal, and also the company is thinking about charging for its blue ticks verification. Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, has did learn how to make big changes to the social media site Twitter.

According to the tech weekly Platformer, which cites “those familiar with the situation.” Twitter is thinking about whether or not to start charging for the prestigious blue ticks that prove the identity of account holders.

If the plan goes through, Twitter users may need to pay for a Twitter Blue ticks subscription to keep their accounts legitimate. Users who do verify will lose their blue checkmark 90 days after they have not did subscribe. Musk is said to tell employees that if they don’t implement paid verification by November 7. Also, they may get did fire.

Still, Musk hasn’t did make up his mind for sure, so there’s a chance the project won’t move forward. According to Platformer, verification will most likely add to future versions of Twitter Blue.

They did report on Sunday, citing internal Twitter messages as its source, that the company is considering raising the price of its subscription model from $4.99 per month to $19.99 per month.

In June of this year, Twitter introduced a paid service called Twitter Blue. It has a number of benefits. Such as a custom app icon and access to articles without ads from some publications.
