Sohaib Maqsood is Multan Sultans’ successful batsmen in PSL season 6. He is happy to be the part of batting in the top order of his team.
After Multan’s victory, Maqsood received top honors by earning the trophies for final player, best batsman and tournament player. He had 428 runs of 47.55 and a strike rate of 156.77, including 5 fifties.
“Over the domestic season, I have a lot of confidence. I hadn’t founded myself in the PSL. However, the management showed their faith and sent me the order. Especially when I started to bat number three, which helped to change things“. Sohaib Maqsood said after the match.
“For a year I took a break from red-ball cricket and worked on my abilities. It also enabled me to take responsibility. But it was mainly in my shape. If I get a chance, I don’t want to do anything else. I’m going to play the same type of mentality and aggression. Praise to the captain and administration who indicated that if I fail and that I should play my game it does not matter,” he added.
Maqsood remained unbeaten in the final at 65 runs off 35 balls and played a role in leading Sultans to 207 runs.
