Sindh’s schools would be closed for an additional ten days

Schools in Sindh are shuttered for another ten days. The Minister of Education is expected to meet the chairman and other officials of the university board.

An advertisement will shortly be placed on board examinations.

Minister for Education Syed Sardar Shah will inform the media about the choices taken during the meeting.

Schools should resume again on 2 August, however due to the Sindh government lock-outs, the date was postponed. The increase in cases of coronavirus halted all malls, government buildings, stores and marketplaces in the province until 8 August. Saeed Ghani added that on August 8, the decision to open schools is debated.

Pakistani schools resumed for 50 percent on August 2.
