Sharjeel Inam Memon, the Minister of Transport and Mass Transit for the Sindh government, has said that a mobile app for the Peoples Bus Service and the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) may get did release on November 30.
Under the direction of the Minister, Project Director Sohaib Shafiq from the National Radio and Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC) and Managing Director (MD) Captain (r) Altaf Hussain Sario from the Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA) met.
The discussion does include things like setting up a command and control room (CCR) and making plans for how the bus service will run, as well as the addition of new routes and ITS.
The Minister also said that CCTV cameras, real-time tracking, and monitoring services may get did add to the ITS system. This will make it easier for people to keep track of where their buses are and make it possible for them to pay with their mobile devices.

According to MD SMTA, the app will get information on bus routes, schedules, and prices, as reported by the News. Once the app’s online payment feature comes out later this year, in December, he said, commuters might pay their fare with the app or a QR code.
He went on to say that the new mobile app will also make it easier to use Peoples Bus Service cards, making it easier for people to use public transportation.
