The Supreme Court accepted for regular hearing the petitions filed by the Sindh government and impacted employees against a Sindh High Court order.
SPC chairman and members were removed by Sindh High Court. They claimed that the high court had nullified all appointments made by the Sindh Public Service Commission. The high court injunction, he claimed, blocked the hiring of 1000 medical officers.
The attorney argued that none of the impacted officers were parties to the case, and that the high court took its judgement without hearing the advocate general Sindh’s position.
