Sindh Chief Minister reiterates his promise to provide Rs6 billion to KCR

The Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, reaffirmed on Monday his promise to provide the Karachi Circular Railway Project with Rs6 billion.

Today, Murad Ali Shah, president of the KCR project at CM House, promised the railway officials that his government will continue to support their efforts to improve the operations of the KCR.

The railway authorities were asked to seek the approval by the federal government of PC-I for the project, and to fulfil his pledge to the KCR.

He also encouraged the railways to carry out fence work on the road to the KRC. Murad Ali Shah stated he supports the present KCR but is also working on realising Karachi’s goal of a contemporary KCR.

The three-member bench of the SC headed by chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed ordered the Sindh Government to make sure it made all necessary financial resources available to enable the project to be completed as quickly as possible, in order to issue orders in the Sindh Government’s Report on the KCR’s revised plan.
