Five solo acts and a group are reportedly approaching a law firm to sue the company for ‘abuse, harassment, and negligence’
Unnamed singer involved in planned lawsuit told Sunday Mirror, ‘Being on the show was awful.’
The unidentified claimant said, ‘Myself and five past actors have agreed to get justice.’
Simon must be accountable. We lost a lot of money dealing with show-related trauma.’
The claimant told the Mirror the case might be worth more than £1m and that the group is seeking justice and recompense for medical expenses.
SyCo told The Mirror that Simon Cowell was not aware of or participated in the alleged occurrences or behavior.
X Factor has comprehensive measures and welfare teams in place to ensure support is always available, a spokesman told the Mirror.
