As Rawalakot Hawks trounced Mirpur Royals in the opener of the Kashmir Premier League (KPL), Ahmad Shehzad and Bismillah Khan performed.
With the huge 195-run goal, Royals lost wickets regularly and were finally limited to 151-8 for a superb Shahid Afridi-led bowling effort.
The only significant contribution for the losing side was Captain Shoaib Malik, who scored 64 of 42 deliveries.
Hawks were picked up by Asif Afriidi and Zaman Khan as they picked up two wickets for each side of the winner.
Earlier, the Hawks established a huge 194-6 lead on the scoreboard with the help of Ahmed Shehzad and Bismillah Khan in a stunning 125-course opening partnership.
After scoring 59 out of 34 balls, Bismillah left, while Shehzad scored 77 out of 51 side deliveries.
