Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy has received two Academy Award nominations for her work as a documentary filmmaker. She has directed and produced three Bahadur animated films and now working on the highly anticipated Ms. Marvel feature.
It has revealed that Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy will collaborate with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Her new project is under development. The documentary will specially include footage on the formation of PSL.
She is now working on a documentary on Pakistan cricket’s 70 years long history. It will cover Pakistan’s debut in 1954 as well as significant events like as the first test victory. The emergence of Imran Khan in the 1970s and the country’s first World Cup victory in 1992 will also include in this project.
Moreover, the documentary will examine some of the difficult times that Pakistan cricket faced in the early 2000s. It will also focus the iconic cricketers who have represented Pakistan with distinction.
