SharePlay is one of the features that Apple announced at WWDC 2021 that would be included in iOS 15.1 and would be available immediately. This is essentially where participants participating in a FaceTime call can collaborate on tasks. The tasks like as sharing a screen, music, and other resources. Although it has included in the iOS 15 update, it has not made available to the public until today.
If SharePlay was a feature that you had been looking forward to, you’ll want to make sure that you upgrade as soon as possible. This is due to the fact that Apple has since issued the iOS 15.1 update. And SharePlay is one of the things you can look forward to as part of that update.
Additionally, iOS 15.1 introduces a number of new capabilities in addition to SharePlay. Users of the iPhone 13 Pro, for example, will now be able to record videos in the ProRes format. Apple has also made some adjustments to the iPhone 13’s macro photography. It is allowing users to turn it off if they don’t want to take macro shots. Which is useful if taking macro photos isn’t something they meant to do.
A new Shortcuts tool with pre-built actions that allow you to overlay text on images or GIFs has also added. And there are also a slew of new games that you can play with Siri if that’s more your style. It’s likely that the update is already available. But if you haven’t received a notification yet, head on over to your iPhone’s Settings to manually download it.
