BAHAWALPUR: Seven rare deer mysteriously died at the Bahawalpur Zoo on Saturday.
Zoo management said another 12 were in critical condition and 22 had been “cared for” after dozens of deer suddenly fell ill.

The deer is believed to have died after consuming the poisoned food, but zoo officials said they could not comment on the cause of death until the autopsy was complete.
Sources say deer that are killed at Bahawalpur Zoo are rare. Deer samples were sent to Lahore to find out the cause of death.
