Scarlett Johansson, the Black Widow actress, recently opened up about her unexpected reunion with Bill Murray on the Goop podcast. The two actors had not seen each other for over a decade since they filmed Lost in Translation in 2003.

During the podcast, the actress shared that she walked into a bar with her ex-boyfriend and was surprised to see that there was only one person sitting at the bar, and it was Bill Murray.

The Nanny Diaries actress stated that she had to walk out when she saw Bill sitting there because it was such a weird moment. She had not seen him for such a long time, and there he was, sitting all alone. Scarlett mentioned that it was more than a decade of time that had passed since she last saw Bill Murray.

Scarlett Johansson said that she eventually went in and talked to Bill, and it was like a dream for her. She explained that it was a therapeutic experience because they talked through that time and caught up on everything that had happened in their lives during the past ten years. The Lucy star added that Bill Murray coped with the long gap by being really manic in this way.

Scarlett and Bill played opposite each other in Sofia Coppola’s Lost in Translation. Their reunion after more than ten years has made fans of the movie nostalgic. It is a reminder of the incredible chemistry the two actors had on screen.
