Scarlett Johansson, a Hollywood actress, is preparing to enter the beauty industry. The “Home Alone 3” star has stated his intention to join Najafi, which will spend 5-10 million dollars in their business.
Details about the brand, including its name or whether to deal with cosmetics or skincare products, are not yet known.
The Avengers: Infinity War star has experience in this field, having previously been a brand ambassador for L’Oreal Paris as well as a celebrity model for the Dolce & Gabbana fragrance line.
“A few years ago, I pulled away from my beauty offerings to create truth for myself. The result was a cleaner and more approachable approach to beauty,” the actor said in a statement quoted by Women’s Wear Daily.
The actor’s brand is slated to hit the market in early 2022.
Former Juicy Couture CEO Kate Foster was introduced as CEO by Johansson.
