Saudi Arabia announced on Tuesday that it would lift the mandatory quarantine for fully vaccinated passengers entering the kingdom, Saudi media reported.
The Saudi General Civil Aviation Authority has announced that people who have completed the vaccination process will not need to be quarantined upon arrival in Saudi Arabia but will be required to present a vaccination card certified by their government.
The Saudi general council had previously established a seven-day quarantine period for people who had not been vaccinated against the coronavirus upon arrival in Saudi Arabia.
Vaccines approved in Saudi Arabia include Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson, according to Saudi media reports.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia also recommended a new protocol for Hajj earlier this year. The Health Ministry said Hajj candidates must undergo a dose of the coronavirus vaccine and a PCR test.
