Like the Galaxy S21, Samsung’s folding panel is also expected to arrive earlier this year. These are rumors of the Ice Universe classifieds which is scheduled to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Fold 3 this July.
It would be several months before the Galaxy Fold last arrived in September last year.
This move makes sense as Samsung is also releasing the Galaxy S earlier than usual this year and the company may be trying to come up with a new timeline. However, there was currently no way of knowing whether this was true or just a rumor. The folders may arrive in July, but Samsung may face production delays.
On the other hand, Samsung may already know what to do with the third iteration, especially after the first iteration undergoes changes to fix it.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to return from ultra-thin glass (UTG) to plastic like the original Galaxy Fold. The main screen can be a 7.55 “panel, while the external display can be a 6.21” screen. Another rumor has it that the Z Fold 3 could cost the same as the Z Fold 2 at launch, which is the equivalent of $ 2000.
We’ve also seen a supposed render of the Z Fold 3 which looks a lot like the S21 Ultra with the S Pen on the side. It’s unclear how the pen works with the smooth plastic screen.
The Z Flip 3 is expected to have a 6.7-inch display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The external display could also be bigger than the original Z Flip, and rumors say there will be a cheaper model this time.
