Dr. Samina Alvi, Pakistan’s first lady and wife of President Dr. Arif Alvi, has tested positive for Covid-19, making her the country’s latest high-profile person to be diagnosed with the rare disease in the South Asian nation.
A day previously, I had been found to be positive for covid. I’m experiencing a little weakness, but otherwise, Alhamdulillah, everything is going fine. I’d appreciate it if everyone could just keep me in their prayers”, she wrote on Twitter a day after contracting the infection.
She also stated that she is experiencing weakness and asked for everyone’s prayers for her well-being.
A coronavirus test resulted in the President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, testing positive earlier in March, nearly ten days after Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra were infected with the unique virus.
