Former India captain Sachin Tendulkar, who is suffering from the coronavirus, said he was hospitalized as a precaution.
He posted information about his health on Twitter on Friday. “I was hospitalized for medical precautions,” Tendulkar wrote on Twitter.
He was previously quarantined at home after passing a positive test after mild symptoms.
Tendulkar thanks the people for his wishes and prayers and hopes to return home in a few days. “Careful and safe for everyone,” said the former captain.

Tendulkar retired from professional gaming in 2013 after achieving an unmatched 100th international century in a fruitful 24-year career. He lives in Mumbai, the capital of the western Indian state of Maharashtra, which has been hardest hit by COVID-19 resuscitation.
