The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that the foreign minister of Russia will meet Turkish counterpart in Turkey this Wednesday. Mevlut Cavusoglu and Sergey Lavrov will discuss some important regional issues and concerns.
According to issued statement, the development of trade and economic cooperation of the two countries will discussed. Their bilateral trade volume increased by $9 Billions in 2020. Cooperation between the both countries in the military, technical and high-tech fields will also assess.
In regional discussions, they will talk about situation in the South Caucasus, the Middle East, North Africa. Also about Afghanistan, Ukraine, Central Asia, the Eastern Mediterranean and Black Sea regions, as well as Syria and Libya.
These top two diplomats Russian and Turkish Foreign Minister will also discuss issues related to fighting COVID-19 and the use and manufacture of the Russian Sputnik-V vaccine in Turkey.
