Royal family won’t celebrate Christmas

Under Charles III, the annual Royal Family Christmas celebration at Sandringham may be “less formal.”

Jennie Bond said Christmas was a formal ceremony in the Royal household for years, with the family bowing or curtsying to the Queen.

Now that Charles is monarch, it’ll be “less buttoned up,” she said.

Bond said Britain’s future king would break the family tradition of watching the monarch’s Christmas Day TV address.

Jenni said that King Charles would stop the “archaic” ceremony and instead have his family and friends talk about the good times they had with the Queen.

Ms. Bond continued, “He’ll record [the speech] a few days before, and it will reflect their loss.”

The royals are expected to attend St. Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham Estate before Christmas supper.

Despite an invitation from the next king, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may not attend.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s connections with King Charles, Camilla, William, Kate Middleton, and other royals are reportedly at rock bottom as Lilibet’s father prepares to disclose all in a new book.
